Overview
- Relays voicemail recordings and notifications to your designated email address(es).
- Messages are sent from:
company@allworx-voicemail.com(example: acme@allworx-voicemail.com). - Each voicemail includes a WAV attachment for playback and archiving.
How the Relay Works
- Voicemails are received, converted into email messages, and relayed to configured recipients.
- Supports single mailboxes, shared inboxes, or distribution groups.
- Subject lines include caller info and timestamp for easy tracking.
Note: Check Spam/Junk folders — some providers may initially flag relay messages.
Configuration Options
- Single recipient — Direct delivery to one inbox.
- Shared mailbox — Central mailbox for a department or team.
- Multiple recipients — Distribution list or multi-user relay.
- Retention & routing — Final storage and retention managed by your mail provider.
Deliverability & Security
- Whitelist
allworx-voicemail.comand add it to your contacts for best delivery. - SPF/DKIM/DMARC compliance from your mail provider helps prevent filtering.
- Large attachments may be rejected by some servers if recordings exceed size limits.
- Note: All messages are delivered via email only — SMS gateways (e.g., AT&T) have been discontinued by most carriers.
Important: Certain relay issues may stem from third-party mail filtering beyond our control. If you suspect provider-level filtering, please contact both your email provider and our support team.
