Email Relay Services

Relay voicemail notifications and attachments to one or more email addresses.

Overview
  • We relay system messages (voicemails) to the designated email address(es).
  • Messages are sent from: company@allworx-voicemail.com (example: acme@allworx-voicemail.com).
  • Each voicemail is attached as a WAV file for playback and archiving.
How relay works
  • Incoming voicemail is received by the system, turned into an email, and relayed to the configured recipient address(es).
  • You can relay to a single mailbox, a shared mailbox, or multiple addresses (distribution list).
  • Subject lines include caller information and timestamp to make tracking easy.
Check Junk / Spam: Relay messages may be routed to Spam/Junk by some email providers. Please check those folders and mark relay emails as "Not spam" if needed.
Configuration options
  • Single recipient — simple, direct delivery to one inbox.
  • Shared mailbox — delivers to a central mailbox for teams.
  • Multiple recipients — forwards or distribution lists for groups.
  • Retention & routing — we can suggest settings but final mailbox retention is managed by your email provider.
Deliverability & security
  • To improve deliverability, add the sending domain (allworx-voicemail.com) to allow/whitelist and your contacts list.
  • SPF/DKIM/DMARC records (managed by your domain/email provider) affect whether messages are accepted or filtered.
  • Very large attachments can be blocked by some mail servers — long recordings may result in larger WAV files.
Important: Some relay or delivery problems may be beyond Networks by Plouffe’s control. If you suspect provider-level filtering, please contact your internal IT or email provider in addition to our support team.

When contacting support, include desired relay address(es), example timestamps, and any delivery failure messages or bounce notifications.
